Jerry Tyrrell is an architect and builder. In 1986 Jerry tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate his one month old niece Caroline.

Jerry, with his twin brother Tim, has assembled a team to write and illustrate the essential steps in first aid. The First Aid Emergency Handbook, 4th edition, is a mix of ideas, graphic design and first-aid expertise which has made the book one of the best in the industry. It is easy to use with coloured tabs and alphabetical arrangement. It is the only book ever to win the Australian Design Award.
Jerry is the creator of Survival 4 Kidz. This organisation promotes children's rights and encourages children's participation in any sport. Jerry has developed the Survival Basketball which shows the correct hand positions.
Tim Tyrrell

Tim Tyrrell has degrees in commerce, law, information systems and building. In 1988 he and Jerry started Survival which has been consistently the leading innovator in first aid products in Australian. Survival's print products have sold over 2 million units. Their iFirstAid application which Tim pioneered is Apple's most popular free first aid application. Survival's First Aid KITs continue Survival's success at providing high quality, easy to use first aid products.
Ella Tyler
Author and First Aid Expert
Ella Tyler is a Registered Nurse and Midwife with two degrees in Adult Education. She has been involved with first aid teaching and instructor training for over 30 years. Mention Ella Tyler's name to anyone in first aid and there is immediate respect. She is known nationally and internationally. Ella is the author of numerous authoritative publications and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of her first aid industry. Her knowledge and wisdom underpins the content of the First Aid Emergency Handbook, 4th edition.
Ella has provided clear instructive information for use in life's first aid emergencies.
Chad Dunn General Manager
Chad Dunn has qualifications in finance, sales and management. He spent eight years in the real estate industry in management and sales before moving on to the finance industry. He brings these talents with him while he assists in restructuring the business in its focus, systems and service offerings. His aim is for Survival Emergency Solutions to stay top of mind for all individuals, trainers and distributors.

Dean Campbell has several years' experience working in sales and account management for some of Australia's largest corporations. Dean's focus is on service and he is the point of contact for our distributors and trainers.He listens to clients and delivers what they want. He will make sure all clients get the best service and price.

Laurence Fazzari has over 20 years experience developing retail distribution with nationally coordinated retailers. He takes a two-sided approach to business opportunities, identifying programs that benefit both the retail and Survival Emergency Solutions to ensure long-term relationships with our retail partners.

Paula Walker runs Survival Emergency Solution's office and does much valuable work 'behind the scenes' to ensure Survival's administration and office systems run smoothly.
Dianne Ryan-Butters
Events and Expo Coordinator
Dianne Ryan-Butters has over 25 years' experience in training and consultancy in teaching teachers and providing workplace training. She has been nationally involved in designing, developing and delivering competency-based accredited OHS and first aid courses as well as industry specific workplace training programs. Dianne assists Survival with its strategy and product development for trainers. She also manages Survival's annual expos and safety shows.
Allison Nealon
Company Director, An Eye for Ink
An Eye for Ink is a creative graphic design company specialising in print medium. The company has worked closely with Survival Emergency Solutions over the past six years to develop strong concepts and ideas Allison then visually interprets these for the printed publications, corporate merchandising, P.O.S. packaging and website graphics. Allison has also been involved in coordinating the various photo shoots for the first aid titles. An Eye for Ink's experience, expertise and energy produces strong results in all areas of design.
